Day 1 features the Kyatanamakki Hills trek through highland shola forest and open meadow ridges with panoramic Western Ghats views, followed by an adrenaline-pumping 4x4 off-road ride through rugged Ghats terrain. Day 2 is packed with sightseeing — the beautiful Soormane Waterfalls, the scenic Suthanabbi Waterfalls, the Samse Tea Estate viewpoint with sweeping valley views, and the iconic Kalasa Hanging Bridge. A complete weekend package that combines trekking, off-road adventure, waterfalls and heritage — all from Bangalore to Bangalore.
09:00 PM: Pickup from Bengaluru. Overnight travel to Chikkamagaluru in a comfortable vehicle.
06:30 AM: Arrive at the homestay. 07:30 AM: Freshen up. 08:30 AM: Hearty breakfast and pack lunch. 09:30 AM: Begin the Kyatanamakki Hills trek — the trail winds through dense shola forest before opening onto grassy highland ridges with sweeping 360° views of the Western Ghats.
01:30 PM: Packed lunch at the ridge viewpoint. 02:30 PM: Descend and head for the 4x4 off-road ride — an adrenaline-pumping drive through rugged Ghats terrain, muddy trails and forest tracks. 05:00 PM: Return to homestay, relax with tea. 08:30 PM: Campfire dinner with stories of the day.
08:30 AM: Breakfast and checkout. Begin Day 2 sightseeing: Visit the beautiful Soormane Waterfalls and Suthanabbi Waterfalls. Head to the Samse Tea Estate viewpoint for sweeping valley panoramas. Cross the iconic Kalasa Hanging Bridge. 01:30 PM: Lunch en route (self-sponsored). Depart for Bengaluru. Evening: Reach Bengaluru.
