This moderately challenging 6 km trek rewards you with some of the most spectacular sunrise views in the region — the golden light sweeping across the Kolar plateau as the sun rises over the eastern hills is a sight that stays with you long after the trek. The summit hosts an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Narayana, adding a spiritual dimension to the adventure. The trail passes through scrub forest and rocky outcrops, with the final section requiring some scrambling over boulders. Pickup from designated Bangalore points. Drive 80 km to Narayanagiri trek base.
Begin the 6 km ascent through scrub forest and rocky terrain. The final section involves scrambling over boulders. Reach the summit and visit the ancient Narayana temple.
